This can happen when the remote control receiver chip vibrates off the motherboard (and the software is set for interval mode 2). If you find your remote control will not work, then this will be the cause of the problem. To resolve it, please undo the 4 screws on the control panel and gently remove it to inspect the motherboard. If you cannot see your remote control receiver chip, please see if you can locate it on the base of your machine. Once you find it, please plug it back in. It will look similar to this:
