Overview
Introducing Spinfire Pro 2
We’ve taken the best all-round ball machine and made it even better.
Tennis ball machines are a fantastic way to practice and improve your game, regardless of your skill level. The Spinfire Pro 2 makes it easy to practice a wide range of shots, test yourself with a variety of paces, spins and elevations, and build your mobility and fitness with practice drills.
With a number of improvements over the original version, the Spinfire Pro 2 offers things you’d normally only find on a much more expensive machine. It includes internal movement, 150-ball capacity, an easy-to-use control panel, remote control and fully programmable app with AI Drill Creator all wrapped up in an extremely stylish and compact design.
Key features and benefits
Internal movement
Unlike most ball machines, which change the direction of the ball by moving the whole machine from side to side, the Spinfire Pro 2 moves internally. This allows for faster re-direction and makes shots less predictable. The internal parts are black to further disguise shot direction.
Random modes
With both horizontal and vertical random modes, balls can be delivered across the full width of the singles court with depth variation. The Spinfire Pro 2 can be set to deliver the same trajectory over and over or a variety of random trajectories. ‘Horizontal Random’ can be set to deliver balls across a narrow, medium or wide area. ‘Vertical Random’ delivers short or long balls in a random order. Both ‘Horizontal Random’ and ‘Vertical Random’ can be combined for a very realistic playing pattern.
Automatic Variation
New in 2023 is ‘Automatic Variation’, which can now be set to automatically adjust speed, spin and/or interval as you play for a more varied training session.
Two-line drills
This feature delivers alternating forehands and backhands. It can be set to ‘wide’, ‘medium’ or ‘narrow’ to vary the degree of difficulty. The ‘wide’ setting makes you run from side to side, ‘narrow’ allows you to remain in the middle of the court, while ‘medium’ is between the two. You can also set the timing between each ball.
Extreme topspin and slice capability
Using counter rotating wheels with enhanced traction for consistent ball launching, the Spinfire Pro 2 operates very quietly and can generate maximum topspin and slice if desired.
Extreme lob
Extreme lobs are rare to find in other ball machines on the market, but with 60° elevation, the Spinfire Pro 2 has no trouble serving up realistic lobs for repetitive practice, making them a breeze on game day.
Smartphone App
Seamlessly control the machine using the Spinfire App, available for iPhone and Android. Transform your training with unparalleled customization and our cutting-edge AI Drill Creator. Design precise and personalized practice sessions with ease, taking advantage of our app’s full programmability, custom and quick drills, and Random Mode. Simply input your desired parameters and the AI Drill Creator will generate the drill for you, giving you the flexibility to fine-tune the settings or begin your perfectly tailored training session immediately.
Remote control
All functions can be controlled remotely, allowing the player to start or pause the machine and change functions without leaving their side of the court. New in 2023 is a feature coaches will love, ‘Single Ball Fire (SBF)’. It allows just a single ball to be fired at the press of a button, great for discussing execution with students or for testing specific settings.
Efficient Energy
Our machines feature Lithium LiFePO4 batteries, delivering up to four times more cycles than other lithium batteries. This high-efficiency choice ensures extended battery life and consistent performance. Our adoption of lithium LiFePO4 highlights our commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge technology. Choose LiFePO4: more cycles, more life.
Easy portability
Compact and lightweight, the Spinfire Pro 2 fits in the trunk of most cars. The hopper (ball basket) can be reversed to neatly cover the machine, and solid wheels and an extendable handle allow you to pull or push it almost anywhere.
LED Ball Firing Indicator
Just before a ball is fired, an LED light on the front of the machine flashes to signal the upcoming feed. This gives players a clear cue that the next shot is on its way, while also indicating that the machine is about to launch a ball.
Power Options
The Spinfire Pro 2 offers two versatile power configurations to suit your needs: Battery or AC Power.
The Battery option features a seamless, all-in-one solution that lets you roll the machine on and off the court effortlessly—no extra attachments needed. Just plug it in to recharge as required. For extra flexibility, an external battery conversion kit is included, giving you the option to reduce the machine’s weight and charge the battery separately for added convenience.
For those with consistent access to power outlets, the AC Power option provides a straightforward plug-and-play experience. Simply plug the machine into a power source, and you’re ready to go, without the need to monitor battery levels.
Each power option is designed to offer maximum convenience based on your playing environment. Explore the images below to see how each setup looks!

I have had the Spinfire Pro 2 ver. 1 and now I have the Spinfire Pro 2 ver 2. I think the changes that were made are really good. With the version 1 when I would roll it to or from the court and I might hit some uneven ground it had a tendency to tip. This version is solid, the larger wheels have made a big difference. Also this version is more compact. These in themselves don’t change the strength of the machine when in use but transporting to and from a court is part of the experience and is also very important. The addition of a card holder for the remote is nice but not as impactful as are the wheels and geometry. I do have a suggestion for Spinfire Sport. Having an external battery that is fairly heavy is problematic. It’s great to have an external but when you are transporting to and from a court where do you put the battery. For me, I have a rolling duffle bag. It does work OK in there. I am thinking that on version 3 could you add a place to slide the external battery into on the outside of the plastic molding of the product. A place to have easy access for insertion and connection to power and to also have easy removal to then carry inside to be recharged. My duffle bag is a soft good and will break down. I like my duffle bag. I want all things to work in tandem.
I love the product – keep innovating.

Very sturdy / well built machine, which offers value for money vs its competitors. Pro II has more sturdy wheels than its predecessor, and is also easier to lift and carry. shipped in 3 separate instalments to get the product to me quicker. Unfortunately there was a delay to getting the Li ion battery, but this was related to post requirements

I bought the spinfire 2 for my son.
We have used it a number of times and I can’t fault it. I have only charged it once and it hasn’t needed a charge. It has been easy to use and follow.
The instruction book was easy to follow and the remote works well from the other end of the court. It’s variable speed and functions provide a complete array of training opportunities and drills. Would highly recommend to anyone.

brilliant service, quick delivery and it’s ridiculously easy to use.

I bought this cuz it’s hard to find a hitting partner with your same level and availability now it turns out this is way good than I expected. Did not regret buying this with lithium ion battery, played 3hrs straight and still running, no issues so far. The juice ball is slightly heavy but you’ll get used to it.

My 1st Spinfire machine is new Pro2 and I’m very pleased with it’s quality and most important with communication with Spinfire customer service. They cover me from time when I was thinking about buying tennis ball machine until suplyer send me wrong version (old one) and even now when I have every question about how machine is working. So tennis machine is very good but customer service is not 5 star but 10 star rating.
