Version of Ball Machine
There are three possible versions of the Spinfire ball machine: V1, V2, and V2 Bluetooth. You can identify your machine using the following criteria:
- Purchase Date
If you purchased your machine before 1 October 2020, you have a V1 machine. - Control Panel Color
V1 machines have a white control panel with blue buttons.
V2 and V2 Bluetooth machines have a purple control panel with blue buttons. - Rear Wheel Design
V1 machines have black transport wheels with a blue ring or no markings.
V2 and V2 Bluetooth machines have black transport wheels with white markings. - Distinguishing Between V2 and V2 Bluetooth
If you have determined your machine is either a V2 or V2 Bluetooth, use the points below to confirm which one:- Bluetooth Compatibility: Only V2 Bluetooth machines are compatible with the Spinfire app. The standard V2 model does not support Bluetooth.
- Release Date: V2 Bluetooth machines were first released in 2024.
- USB Port: Remove the 4 screws on the control panel and gently lift it. If there is a USB port on the inside, your machine is a V2 Bluetooth. If not, it is a V2.
- Software Version: A V2 Bluetooth machine will have a software version starting with 6 (for example, 6.2.7). A V2 machine will have a software version starting with 5 (for example, 5.1.9).
