Connectivity Requirements

⚠️ Important: Phone/Tablet Must Remain Nearby

Both Apple Watch and WearOS devices require your phone or tablet to remain within Bluetooth range during use. The smartwatch cannot connect directly to the ball machine.

How it works:

  1. Your phone/tablet connects to the ball machine via Bluetooth
  2. Your smartwatch connects to your phone/tablet
  3. Commands from your watch are relayed through your phone/tablet to the ball machine

Range limitations:

  • Phone/tablet must stay within 10-30 meters of both the watch and ball machine
  • Leaving your phone at home or in your bag far from the court will break the connection

Current Supported Features

Both Apple Watch and WearOS support the following features:

  • Drill Control: Play, pause, and stop drills
  • Drill Selection: Browse and select from your drill library
  • Sleep Mode: Toggle the ball machine’s sleep mode
  • Connection Status: Monitor real-time connection to the ball machine
  • Voice Commands: Request AI-generated drills using voice input
  • Timer Functions: Set countdown timers for practice sessions
  • Drill Management: Delete drills directly from your watch
  • Haptic Feedback: Receive tactile notifications (Apple Watch)

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues
