Overview
Introducing Spinfire Pro 2
We’ve taken the best all-round ball machine and made it even better.
Tennis ball machines are a fantastic way to practice and improve your game, regardless of your skill level. The Spinfire Pro 2 makes it easy to practice a wide range of shots, test yourself with a variety of paces, spins and elevations, and build your mobility and fitness with practice drills.
With a number of improvements over the original version, the Spinfire Pro 2 offers things you’d normally only find on a much more expensive machine. It includes internal movement, an easy-to-use control panel and remote control, and 150-ball capacity – all wrapped up in an extremely stylish and compact design.
Key features and benefits
Internal movement
Unlike most ball machines, which change the direction of the ball by moving the whole machine from side to side, the Spinfire Pro 2 moves internally. This allows for faster re-direction and makes shots less predictable. The internal parts are black to further disguise shot direction.
Random modes
With both horizontal and vertical random modes, balls can be delivered across the full width of the singles court with depth variation. The Spinfire Pro 2 can be set to deliver the same trajectory over and over or a variety of random trajectories. ‘Horizontal Random’ can be set to deliver balls across a narrow, medium or wide area. ‘Vertical Random’ delivers short or long balls in a random order. Both ‘Horizontal Random’ and ‘Vertical Random’ can be combined for a very realistic playing pattern.
Automatic Variation
New in 2023 is ‘Automatic Variation’, which can now be set to automatically adjust speed, spin and/or interval as you play for a more varied training session.
Two-line drills
This feature delivers alternating forehands and backhands. It can be set to ‘wide’, ‘medium’ or ‘narrow’ to vary the degree of difficulty. The ‘wide’ setting makes you run from side to side, ‘narrow’ allows you to remain in the middle of the court, while ‘medium’ is between the two. You can also set the timing between each ball.
Extreme topspin and slice capability
Using counter rotating wheels with enhanced traction for consistent ball launching, the Spinfire Pro 2 operates very quietly and can generate maximum topspin and slice if desired.
Extreme lob
Extreme lobs are rare to find in other ball machines on the market, but with 60° elevation, the Spinfire Pro 2 has no trouble serving up realistic lobs for repetitive practice, making them a breeze on game day.
Remote control
All functions can be controlled remotely, allowing the player to start or pause the machine and change functions without leaving their side of the court. New in 2023 is a feature coaches will love, ‘Single Ball Fire (SBF)’. It allows just a single ball to be fired at the press of a button, great for discussing execution with students or for testing specific settings.
Easy portability
Compact and lightweight, the Spinfire Pro 2 fits in the trunk of most cars. The hopper (ball basket) can be reversed to neatly cover the machine, and solid wheels and an extendable handle allow you to pull or push it almost anywhere.
Three power options
You can choose between our 3 power options, External Battery – machine with external battery pack, Internal Battery – internal built-in battery machine or AC Power – plug-in AC power option.
The External Battery machine is much lighter as the battery is separate, this also allows for handy charging without moving your machine, great for leaving it in the car while you charge the battery! The all-in-one option is our Internal Battery machine, you can simply plug in your machine to charge the battery. A fast charger is also available, cutting the charging time to just 3-4 hours! If your court has easy access to a powerpoint, the AC Power plug-in machine with no battery allows for simple plug and play. Check out the pictures below to see each of our machines!
More power options!
AC Adaptor
Add this to your order if you would like to run your Internal Battery or External Battery machines using electricity as well.
External Battery Pack
Add this to your order if you would like to expand your options and run your AC Power machine with a battery as well.
You can also add this to your order if you would like to double your playtime with an External Battery Pack to run your Internal Battery machine.

I purchased the Spinfire approx 2 years ago, and using it once or twice per week has has AMAZING results on my game, specifically base line rallies with topspin forehand and topspin backhand shots. DO NOT waste your money on coaching until you buy one of these machines, because it allows the absolute best practice in so many ways. I see so many people getting coaching and not be able to apply their teachings in a match because they don’t practice the right way. The Spinfire fixes that problem. WANNA PLAY BETTER TENNIS – GET A SPINFIRE!

I previously reviewed this machine (4 from the top). Machine has been good and has worked well. However, I’ve just gone back to use it again after a few months and the battery won’t charge. It had just been sitting in the garage not plugged in. seems the battery has died lost charge and died. Bit of a shame, but hopefully I’ll be able to replace the battery ok.

This machine ticks all the boxes, ground stokes, lobs, top spin and drills. It can take an average player and make them better. Using the drill function can also improve fitness as you run continuously left and right you soon work up a sweat then you learn if you can hit a winning shot when your very tired well worth the money if you can spare it

Great
Angus –
it is a very good hitting partner if you have not got any one to hit with. also very good for working on one shot as you can fire a hole basket at that shot
Henry –
Really good machine for getting into a good groove. Machine can generate impressive topspin and provides good variety of ball positions including lobs for overhead training. Definitely recommend, particularly to a strong intermediate or someone getting back into training after a spell away from the game.
DANIEL –
The machine is very handy and with many possibilities for all tennis levels. You can adjust it just as you want. Great fun training with my young daughter.
The only thing I miss is a memory where you can save your favourite adjustments

I purchase the SP2 in October12. I am an intermediate player, but the kids use it too. The machine has worked very well so far with spinfire juice balls. I haven’t had any problems with jamming, but I have had 2 or even 3 balls coming out at once a few times. The frequency of this seems to be reducing. A bit of fluff does start to build up in the machine a little. Only other issue has been that often the last 3-4 balls don’t make it into the feeder. The design of this could be improved slightly. I like the two line function which allows forehand/backhand alternating with the vertical oscillation to change depth. I have also setup the machine for my son to practice his cricket batting. Put it on low trajectory with heaps of top spin and full speed and it’s great. I’d like someone to come out with a stand so that we could elevate the machine for practice receiving tennis serves.
Note from Spinfire: This review was of the old v1 model. The new v2 model has resolved some of the issues he has described.

Received the product and ripped it out of the box to fire up. We spent probably 30mins giggling whilst learning to use it. My kids (5 & 3) loved it. I look forward to having many years of fun with it. PS. The kids have nicknamed him Barney the Ball Machine

This machine is better than the Lobster, which I have used before and has broken several times. One thing the Manual does not mention: with very new balls, the machine jams and you can only load half bucket. Once the fluff has gone from the new balls, all good
Note from Spinifre: This review was of the old v1 model. Our v2 model has improved the feeding mechanism to reduce jams.
