The Spinfire Pro 2 builds on the features of the Pro 1 by adding vertical oscillation, a 2 line drill & a remote control. As with the Pro 1, this machine offers internal oscillation and its stylish design allows for a 200 ball capacity while also being extremely portable and compact for storage. Feature packed, it includes both horizontal & vertical oscillation, a 2 line drill, extreme spin, LCD display, membrane touch panel and more.

Internal oscillation:

The Spinfire Pro series of ball machines oscillates internally and moves quickly making shots less predictable. This design moves away from the traditional ball machine model of oscillating the whole body which is slower and more predictable.

Remote control:

The remote is included standard and can control all machine functions. It also has a pause function which powers down the machine into a sleep state to conserve battery while the balls are being collected.

Counter rotating wheels:

The Spinfire Pro series uses “extreme grip” counter rotating wheels to propel the balls. This is the most effective method of ball propulsion allowing the machine to remain silent and effectively produce topspin and slice. The wheels are black to help disguise their location inside the machine, helping to make each shot less predictable.

These machines allow for the hopper to be reversed to neatly cover the machine making it very compact. The solid wheels and handle allow you to easily move the machine. The handle is stored underneath the machine and extends when required.

Vertical & horizontal oscillation:

Vertical & horizontal oscillation provides shots with variation in depth and width (wide or medium) respectively. These features can be turned on individually or together, providing completely random play (sometimes referred to as triple oscillation).

Internal or external battery option:

We now provide the option of either an internal or external battery configuration. With the innovative Spinfire External Battery Pack your ball machine is much lighter, allowing you to leave it in the car and bring inside only the battery for charging.

External Battery Option: Collecting the battery from the carExternal Battery Option: Collecting the battery from the car

External Battery Option: Taking only the battery inside for charging, leaving the machine in the car
External Battery Option: Taking only the battery inside for charging, leaving the machine in the car

LCD display and membrane touch panel:

The machine is controlled by a membrane touch panel with a backlit LCD display featuring the settings, battery life & diagnostic information.

Two line drill:

The Spinfire Pro 2 offers completely random hitting but also offers this two line drill feature (not available on the Pro

Once set, the balls will no longer be random, instead, you will receive alternating forehands and backhands. It can be set to either “narrow”, “medium” or “wide” to vary the degree of difficulty. You can also set the timing between each ball. For extra difficulty, you can turn the “vertical oscillation” on at the same time to vary the depth of each delivery.

Extreme spin:

These machines have “extreme grip” throwing wheels which can create very high levels of topspin & slice. When set at the maximum level, the difficulty of the spin is so high that if you can master it, you will have no trouble dealing with your opponent’s in real match play. Of course you can always set the spin to much easier levels for more realistic practice.

Utilising infrared & magnetic sensors, the Spinfire Pro series of machines can calibrate themselves before every use, allowing you to line up the machine to the center of the court. When turning off horizontal or vertical oscillation the machine will calibrate itself back to its original position.

After spending time learning your favorite settings and inputting them into the machine, it’s nice to know that they are memorized. Each time you turn on the machine it recalls the last settings you were using for interval, speed and spin.

The Spinfire Pro series of machines come with a 2 year warranty on parts and labor (USA only, please contact your local distributor for warranty information in your country).

Spinfire offer the following optional extras:

Fast charger – will charge the machine in 4 hours instead of 11 hours.

Cover – this water resistant cover will protect the machine from dust, debris, leaves, etc. It should not be used to leave the machine out on the court in the weather. The machine can still be wheeled while using this cover.

Carry case – this water resistant heavy duty carry case will allow you to use the handles to transport the machine to and from your destination. It also includes pockets for storing the remote control, charger and other items. The machine can still be wheeled while using this case.

  1. Jason

I’ve just bought a Spinfire pro 2 and took out out last night for my first go, it was fantastic!
I have been playing tennis since I was a kid and have found it difficult to just go and play whenever I want due to good high level practice partners, my machine has now changed that.
I am going on court again tonight and can’t wait, amazing fun!.
Thank you Spinfire for an easy to use machine that does what I need.
I’m not worried by the small things that others complain about as the upside is I get to play at a high level when I want.
It is very usable and so quiet, Loving the remote control and it beeps to show you have changed the setting. If it were to have a screen etc it would be too big to keep in your pocket.
    Fantastic, thank you..

We purchased the Spinfire pro 2 in September for our son who is 12 years old, and a national player here in the U.K.
He has used the ball machine pretty much every day for 1 hour since then as part of his training schedule.
The spinfire 2 has been faultless and consistent.
My son has risen through the next age group (14&under) in this time and has climbed over 50 places in the national rankings, he has also just attracted sponsorship from Babolat.
I have no doubt a lot of his success is down to the training he has acquired from this machine.
Thank you for an excellent product.

I bought this machine 2 months ago and it’s everything & more than promised on the website. I had an issue with an additional AC Adapter but the problem was taken care of immediately within minutes (Leon – You are awesome & thanks for everything)! The components are very durable, user interface intuitive, and the variance of balls delivered is minimal (They are sent exactly where you control them to be sent).

Spinfire seems to be a throwback to the old days where companies made great products and the service was the most important part of the sale. This was well worth the cost and I’ll be a customer for life.

I have had the Spinfire Pro 2 for 1 year and it works really well. I got it just starting out in tennis last year when I realized I needed a lot of repetition to get my shots right. The machine doesn’t teach you, but it does everything else.

It’s portable enough to put in the trunk of the car (upright) and it has a luggage handle for rolling, but it’s also possible to pick it up without too much trouble. It’s not loud, so I can use it early in the morning when the courts are empty. The remote is perfect to start and stop the ball delivery as needed from across the court (I marked mine with an extra bump on the ‘Pause’ button so it’s easy to find tactilely). I have the external battery pack, which I keep plugged in at home between uses; the battery life is longer than I can play at once, but if you wanted to use it for multiple players, one battery likely could power the machine for 8 hours, and would take about 12 hours to recharge (I estimate). The balls have only gotten stuck in the hopper feeder about 1 per 10,000 deliveries, and only when the balls have gotten damp in puddles and so weigh a bit more than usual all massed together in the hopper (I load 2 gross at a time and try to hit about 4 loads a session over an hour). It’s easy to clear a jam if there ever is one. The machine can send the ball where you want it every time, and you have control of spin, elevation, speed, and rate of delivery. You can have drills alternating directions or random delivery short/long and/or left/right, your choice on how to control it.

I’m told the balls are washable and machine-dryable but haven’t had to do that. They seem very durable. Although they are solid, I can’t the difference between the Spinfire balls and regular tennis balls in the play. The haven’t worn out or lost their fuzz over 2 seasons. The machine itself seems durable and well put-together. Like other reviewers I also had very prompt and proactive customer service contact in making the purchase and receiving the delivery. This is a great way to practice exactly what you want to work on over and over, whether baseline returns, volleys or overheads, plus at a huge choice in speed and spin. I know I make more hits by far with this machine per hour than in any other way, and I really like being in control of how and when I practice. The Spinfire is always ready when I am.

I love this machine. Received it beginning of August and have used it at least 10 times. Every reason I could come up with in determining which machine to buy came out perfectly for me. Here are my reasons. 1 – It is simply built. The more complicated something is the more likely it will breakdown. 2 – It is very easy to use. The remote is light, well thought out arraingment. All the variability in function that anyone would want. 3 – Fits my purpose. I am in my 60s. Played on college team, #2 singles, #1 doubles, played at 4.0 to 5.0 when I was in school. Topspin, flat, cut shots, speed, lobs, time interval. 4 – Easy to transport and holds enough balls. Wheels and extendable handle make it easy. External battery helps reduce weight to put in and out of car. I bought 2 bags of balls, around 150 in hopper at a time is just right. I will run through 3 sessions. 5 – Quiet – this is important. It is very quiet. If you are on a court and others are the court next to you you don’t want to make them mad. 6 – External battery is great since I. don’t want to move a machine into my place to charge. Trickle charge is enough over night and I will charge after about 3 outings. I have never had it not work so I don’t know how long I can go on a single charge. 7 – I like the mechanics that it will pivot internally to spread the shots to forehand and backhand. If you look really hard at the machine from across the court you can see where it is going but you have to really look. I’m glad it doesn’t show its hand easily.

I love it, love it. Yes, it is pricey but the health benefits, the game improvement that it will ultimately make and the friends you make by their curiosity is well worth it. And knowing that if it breaks down in a year or more, if it does, I can probably fix it myself.

BTW – the other machines I considered, Lobster Elite Grand 5, Spinshot Plus 2, Hydrogen Proton.
