    Power Configuration

Choosing the power configuration of your machine is a matter of personal preference, we have three great options to suit anyone’s needs! Here’s a quick look:

AC Power – machine plugs into a powerpoint
If your court has easy access to a powerpoint, this no battery machine allows for simple plug and play.

Internal Battery – machine has an internal battery
All-in-one machine, roll it on and off court with no external extras and plug in your machine to charge the battery.

External Battery – machine has an external battery pack
The machine is lighter as the battery is separate. This also allows for handy charging without moving your machine, great for leaving it in the car while you charge the battery.

You will have the option to pick a standard or lithium battery next, Here’s a table comparing the weights of the power options:

    Machine Weight
    External Battery Weight
    Total Combined Weight

Overview

Introducing Spinfire Pro 2

We’ve taken the best all-round ball machine and made it even better.

Tennis ball machines are a fantastic way to practice and improve your game, regardless of your skill level. The Spinfire Pro 2 makes it easy to practice a wide range of shots, test yourself with a variety of paces, spins and elevations, and build your mobility and fitness with practice drills.

With a number of improvements over the original version, the Spinfire Pro 2 offers things you’d normally only find on a much more expensive machine. It includes internal movement, an easy-to-use control panel and remote control, and 150-ball capacity – all wrapped up in an extremely stylish and compact design.

Key features and benefits

Internal movement

Unlike most ball machines, which change the direction of the ball by moving the whole machine from side to side, the Spinfire Pro 2 moves internally. This allows for faster re-direction and makes shots less predictable. The internal parts are black to further disguise shot direction.

Random modes

With both horizontal and vertical random modes, balls can be delivered across the full width of the singles court with depth variation. The Spinfire Pro 2 can be set to deliver the same trajectory over and over or a variety of random trajectories. ‘Horizontal Random’ can be set to deliver balls across a narrow, medium or wide area. ‘Vertical Random’ delivers short or long balls in a random order. Both ‘Horizontal Random’ and ‘Vertical Random’ can be combined for a very realistic playing pattern.

Automatic Variation

New in 2023 is ‘Automatic Variation’, which can now be set to automatically adjust speed, spin and/or interval as you play for a more varied training session.

Two-line drills

This feature delivers alternating forehands and backhands. It can be set to ‘wide’, ‘medium’ or ‘narrow’ to vary the degree of difficulty. The ‘wide’ setting makes you run from side to side, ‘narrow’ allows you to remain in the middle of the court, while ‘medium’ is between the two. You can also set the timing between each ball.

Extreme topspin and slice capability

Using counter rotating wheels with enhanced traction for consistent ball launching, the Spinfire Pro 2 operates very quietly and can generate maximum topspin and slice if desired.

Extreme lob

Extreme lobs are rare to find in other ball machines on the market, but with 60° elevation, the Spinfire Pro 2 has no trouble serving up realistic lobs for repetitive practice, making them a breeze on game day.

Remote control

All functions can be controlled remotely, allowing the player to start or pause the machine and change functions without leaving their side of the court. New in 2023 is a feature coaches will love, ‘Single Ball Fire (SBF)’. It allows just a single ball to be fired at the press of a button, great for discussing execution with students or for testing specific settings.

Easy portability

Compact and lightweight, the Spinfire Pro 2 fits in the trunk of most cars. The hopper (ball basket) can be reversed to neatly cover the machine, and solid wheels and an extendable handle allow you to pull or push it almost anywhere.

Three power options

You can choose between our 3 power options, External Battery – machine with external battery pack, Internal Battery – internal built-in battery machine or AC Power – plug-in AC power option.

The External Battery machine is much lighter as the battery is separate, this also allows for handy charging without moving your machine, great for leaving it in the car while you charge the battery! The all-in-one option is our Internal Battery machine, you can simply plug in your machine to charge the battery. A fast charger is also available, cutting the charging time to just 3-4 hours! If your court has easy access to a powerpoint, the AC Power plug-in machine with no battery allows for simple plug and play. Check out the pictures below to see each of our machines!

More power options!

AC Adaptor
Add this to your order if you would like to run your Internal Battery or External Battery machines using electricity as well.

External Battery Pack
Add this to your order if you would like to expand your options and run your AC Power machine with a battery as well.
You can also add this to your order if you would like to double your playtime with an External Battery Pack to run your Internal Battery machine.

  1. Dr Gerrit van Wageningen

I ordered The Spinfire Pro 2 after extensive research, and I am thoroughly thrilled with my new tennis-hitting partner that I have been using for almost a year.
I have a standard all-weather court on my large plot in Stellenbosch, close to Cape Town in South Africa, and we play tennis at least 3-4 times per week. All my tennis friends are likewise immensely impressed, and two of them have subsequently purchased similar models (my regular doubles partner, who also bought a used model is rated nr 1 in South Africa for over 65 years and regularly represents our country in tennis tournaments).
I personally recently changed my old standard hammer grip to Eastern and semi-Western grips, and the Spinfire has been instrumental in my ability to play at and above my previous level within a few months (not bad for a 66-year-old dog!)
The Spinfire remote has started playing up, but the South African franchise, sports24seven, has immediately offered me a used replacement while waiting for the new unit to arrive from Australia. Carol Huang from the Australian mother company has also kindly assisted in the replacement of the remote unit.
Therefore, similar to the actual machine, the after-sales service is also excellent!
You will not regret buying this fantastic piece of mechanical miracle!
    Kind regards,
    Dr Gerrit van Wageningen

I bought the Spinfire Pro 2 after a lot of research, to provide a ball machine for our tennis club in the UK. I’m running a club with an annual membership and unlimited use. We’ve had it available for less than 17 days and have already fired 14,000 balls. I have elite juniors using it, including with their coach, one very strong adult player and a great mix of ages and abilities. Without exception, everyone who has used it LOVES it. I’m encouraging our players to try and practice with a purpose, but you can’t ignore that it is also great fun.

I’ve seen players improve their strokes inside of 30 balls, because the consistency of feed is so good. We are using the pressureless Spinfire Touch balls and they come off the court and the racket very well – I can’t tell they are different and nobody has complained about them.

The machine is strong enough to put our elite juniors to the test with a “warm up” drill of wide 2-line, fast and low. But where it excels for me is the shots that are so hard to feed. We had lobs practically scraping the roof of our dome and being played from just beyond the service line. It is also great for setting up dipping first volleys, put away volleys and creating testing shots that cause you trouble. We’ve not played too much with the Random settings (elevation, speed and spin), but we had a little go with lobs on Random Speed and the +1 extra really added a new dimension.

It got cold here, we had an issue with the battery registering it’s levels. So I contacted Spinfire, and as others have said, the Support have been brilliant.

I am a 70yo casual tennis player. Last week, I hired the Spinfire 2 machine from our tennis club and played with it the first time with some friends. It was so compact and easy to use. The remote control is extremely handy, as I used it to change the speed, height and sides even during play. My friends and I take turn to hit while another one picked up the balls.
It allowed us to hit forehand , backhand, volley and control our shots. We all loved it.

  4. Team Skilton

Our 15 year old son started training with the Spinfire 24 months ago and he is now wining USTA junior tournaments and getting ready for his first high school year starting play in the spring of 2024. Our son is serving at about 100 MPH and has very good control of this ground strokes, largely due to his training with Spinfire. A great machine to train to master all shots! – Team Skilton Sports

  5. Heimo Wenzl

I am writing to share my experience with the new Spinfire Pro 2 ballmachine and the customer service of the company.

    1. The machine: I searched long time and reviewed all the ballmachines on the market before I decided to buy the Spinfire (v2). This ballmachine has several great features. Apart from delivering the balls at a wide range of different speeds, heights and spins, it can be steered with a control panel on the machine and a handy remote control that can easily be kept in the pocket. Thus, you can use the machine also without remote control, for example, if you forgot it at home. Another advantage is the low weight that makes it easy to transport the machine by car, even more so if you choose an external battery. Initially, I thought an internal battery would be better, but I am completely content with the external version. If you change your mind, it is possible to put the external battery inside the machine. I took the lithium battery which lasts for several hours, and I never had a problem with energy supply. Another feature that pleased me are the big wheels that make it easy to transport the machine from the car to the court even if the ground is rough. Taken together this is the perfect machine for me, everything is as advertised, and I would buy it again.
    2. The customer service: Before I ordered the machine, I contacted the customer service because I was not sure whether to take an internal or an external battery. Carol responded immediately. She gave me important hints, and I finally decided to take the external battery, what proved to be the better option for me. After several weeks I left the hopper of the machine on the court, and someone took it. In this situation I got aware how important a customer service can be because without the hopper the machine is useless. Carol from the customer service had a new hopper sent from Australia to the distributor in Germany and made sure that the new hopper reached me. I am 62 years old and have never seen a better customer service.

In summary, the Sinfire Pro 2 is a great machine and the customer service of Spinfire (represented by Carol) is extraordinary.

  6. Choon-Cheng Chee

The Spinfire ball machine has been fantastic for me and my family. We are all beginners and have been using the machine to practise our forehands and backhands. It is very helpful to have a Spinfire. We don’t need someone standing there to feed the balls and I can practise by myself with the ball machine without anyone with me. Being able to practise more ourselves also mean that we make progress faster and spend less time and money with a coach.
In addition, the machine has other options that we could use to do more advanced trainings as we make progress.

  7. suhaib (verified owner)

I agree that this machine is expensive comparing by other companies but I bought recently this spinfire pro 2. This is an amazing machine, my improvement was developed so fast. I really recommend to buy it and do not think to buy another machine comparing by this spinfire pro 2.

  8. Tim Foster

I bought my Spinfire after a lot of research, and after being an early backer of the Slinger Bag. I got an external battery so that I could transport it without the heavy battery between my homes. I was very happy for my initial uses with no problem at all. It gave a great workout. Then lockdown came and it sat in the garage unused. When I finally got to use it again, this Spring, it was displaying a fault with the vertical sensor. I reached out to Spinfire and got a response within a few hours. Zul pointed me to some videos to allow me to disassemble the machine and check the connections. He also gave me the details for the UK distributor. I checked and couldn’t rectify it, so he arranged with W&D Strings to send me a replacement sensor. Unfortunately, after trying this it was still reporting the error. However, I noticed an issue with the motherboard at the point the sensor connected. Without even asking, Zul arranged for W&D to send me a replacement motherboard and instructions on how to replace it. I now have a fully working ball machine again and can’t wait to get on court at the weekend.

Zul, and W&D Strings couldn’t have been more helpful. Ball machines are not cheap and so customer service is an important consideration. I can say, without hesitation, that Spinfire make fantastic machines, and have a customer service that is second to none. When it comes time to replace this one, I will be looking nowhere else other that Spinfire.

  9. Amar

Very good Machine using it from 2016, i never had a Coach and SPINFIRE helped me learn and compete Tennis. Only worry is we do not have any service in Bangalore India, even if i recommend SPIN FIRE, Players, Coaches & Parents always question me on the Service aspect.

Note from Spinfire: We do have a distributor in New Delhi who can handle servicing needs all over India.

  10. John Torres

A year ago I was cleaning out my garage and I found an old trophy. A 1978 MVP tennis trophy from my HS. Wanting to step up my game, I looked into a Spinfire Pro 2, and step up I did. I hit faster and harder now at age of sixty than I did when I seventeen. So in closing If you want to blow everybody’s mind on the court get the SPINFIRE PRO 2.
